About Us

Black Diamond Cygnus rents and sells modular space and workforce accommodation solutions to customers in operating in Northeast BC. We also provide specialized field rentals to energy gas producers and midstream companies. More importantly, we serve diverse sectors including oil and gas, mining, power, construction, engineering, financial institutions, military, government, and education.

Since our humble beginnings as a small operation in 2010, we have grown to encompass four separate business units, and earned a world class reputation and a track record of over-delivering on promises to our clients.

History and experience

Since 2010, Black Diamond Cygnus partnership has partnered with the West Moberly First Nation to service customers with quality products while providing opportunities to our Indigenous community partners.

This strategic alliance has been used to win contracts across the four divisions of Black Diamond Cygnus. Successful projects in West Moberly First Nation territory include the Sukunka Coastal Lodge for Coastal GasLink, the Little Prairie and Sunset Prairie Lodge, as well as equity participation from West Moberly First Nation for access mats procured by ConocoPhillips Canada.

Black Diamond Cygnus has been the recipient of numerous awards including the BC Aboriginal Business Award – Best Joint Venture (2012), the BC Aboriginal Business Award – Industry Partnership (2017), and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business – Procurement Champion (2019).
